Coach Field Tote
I fell victim to the market tote trend (but not luxury prices!) and purchased the Coach Field Tote 40 with the rocket animation. It's a gorgeous bag, super spacious, and there aren't many videos about the Coach field totes so if you have any questions please let me know in the comments section below. Coach offers several field totes and a matching rocket pouch. The bag is made of coated canvas with leather trim and includes a very comfortable and adjustable shoulder strap as well as a detachable pouch, similar to that on the Louis Vuitton Neverfull. I've been using it as an everyday bag (perfect for winter because I can toss in my scarf, gloves, hat, and even a coat) but it would also be perfect as a weekend bag. If you've been eyeing a designer market tote but aren't willing to spend those luxury prices, consider the market totes from Coach! I love mine and am so glad I decided to purchase it. Coach is also having a big winter sale so be sure to check that out while you're there. Click the links in this post (highlighted in pink) to learn more about the items mentioned. Also, if you're not already signed up with Rakuten (formerly ebates) you can sign up today and get $10 off your first $25+ purchase from Coach (or other retailers) as well as earn cash back from your online purchases. Louis Vuitton Books
I have several luxury books in my collection and just added Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion and Architecture which showcases collaborations between Louis Vuitton and artists & designers. It is a stunning book to flip through and and I am excited about perusing it and learning more about my favorite luxury brand then being able to share more content with you on their collaborations. My other favorite book in my collection is Louis Vuitton City Bags which is perfect for the Louis Vuitton handbag lover. This book features bags from the start of Louis Vuitton up through the book's publication date. Not only do you see collections, how bags have changed over time, and ways the bags have been advertised but you also see a breakdown of how the bags were made and designed, from each individual piece it takes to construct a Speedy to the layers of screen printing on Murakami cerices animations. It is a must have for anyone wanting to learn more about Louis Vuitton handbags. Below I have listed several other Louis Vuitton books worth your consideration.
40th Birthday Haul
In this video I share what I got for my 40th birthday, including a Chanel handbag from The RealReal. Unboxing: Ultra Rare Louis Vuitton Expert Pen Case
I've been looking for this piece for years! The pattern I found wasn't my first choice but for an item this rare (and for such a reasonable price) you take what you can get. Thank you once again The RealReal for another incredible bargain! Unboxing: Super Rare Louis Vuitton Night Bird Bag Charm
I had the chance to buy this Louis Vuitton Night Bird bag charm in the store and didn't. I then kicked myself ever since because it became nearly impossible to find and on the rare occasions one did pop up it was well over double the retail price. Somehow, I was finally able to snatch this one up from Fashionphile for a steal! Unboxing: Ultra Rare Louis Vuitton Turquoise Luggage Tag by Kim Jones
Not only is the Kim Jones turquoise luggage tag almost impossible to find but it's usually outrageously expensive because it's so sought after. I guess my persistent preloved shopping skills benefited me again, though, because I found it for a great price! Unboxing: Limited Edition Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Pouch PM in Jungle Dots
I was never interested in the Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Pouch until I saw this limited edition Jungle Dots version on The RealReal. There's just something about the print and the colors that speaks to me. I couldn't resist. Unboxing: Damaged Fendi Spy Bag
The Fendi Spy Bag has been on my radar ever since I purchased a dupe of one off Canal Street in NYC when I was in college. At the time I didn't even know enough about handbags to know that it was a dupe of anything...I just liked the bag. I finally decided to give the real thing a try. Unfortunately, this one was damaged. The reseller did the right thing and allowed me to return it, even though it was final sale, because the damage was not disclosed in the listing. Unboxing: Louis Vuitton Facettes Bag Charm
I purchased this item preloved from Fashionphile a few years ago to save $50 off retail but that was early on in my my Louis Vuitton collection journey and, as time passed, I wished I had purchased it new so it would be in new condition. The one I selected from Fashionphile has some scratches and plating wear. This year I decided the time was now so I sold my preloved charm and repurchased it brand new from Louis Vuitton. In the end, when I total all that I spent and what I made selling the first one, I ended up paying over retail but that was one of the learning experiences that I enjoy being able to share with you. No regrets. |
